The enclosed guide lists suggested household furnishings and weekly menus, along with estimates of expenses and responsibilities of servants; endorsed "Aprill 13th, 1675. A Copie of Mrs. Evelyn's Instructions to Mrs. Blague (Margaret Blagge) for setting up & keeping house, upon her marriage with my Ld. Godolphin (Sir Sidney Godolphin). With my Lady Rolle's Qualifications of a good Housekeeper."
